Pipeline script disclosure via unchecked replay tool
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
Missing authorization in Jenkins MCP Server Plugin 0.177.v629fdb_2557fe and earlier lets remote authenticated users read Pipeline scripts. The getReplayScripts MCP tool returns a Pipeline build's replay script without requiring Item/Extended Read permission. Item/Read permission on an accessible job is sufficient, exposing its Pipeline source but not granting job modification.
