CVE-2026-57282Network attack vector

Command execution via unescaped workspace path

Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026

OS command injection in Jenkins Git client Plugin 6.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on Unix agents. The generated SSH wrapper script embeds an improperly escaped workspace path, allowing shell command substitution in a controlled directory name. Exploitation requires control of the build working directory while the manually provided host-key strategy is used, and commands run with the agent's privileges.
