Remote code execution via unchecked byPass index
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Out-of-bounds access in GeoVision GeoWebPlayer 1.1.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted WebSocket message. The byPass handler uses an unchecked message index to select critical-section and camera arrays, then invokes a function pointer read outside the array bounds. Exploitation requires user interaction with a malicious webpage that reaches the locally exposed WebSocket server; successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
