Contributor-level template publication via unchecked activation
Published Oct 10, 2026 · Updated Oct 10, 2026
Authorization bypass in Hello Plus 1.7.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to replace site headers and footers. The hello_plus_set_as_entire_site action changes template publication status without verifying the caller's authority. Contributor-level access permits publishing attacker-owned templates and moving active templates owned by higher-privileged users to draft, altering the site's presentation without granting administrator access.
