Code execution via unchecked disconnect index
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Out-of-bounds access in GeoVision GeoWebPlayer 1.1.1.0 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a crafted WebSocket message. The disconnect handler forwards an unchecked index to do_disconnect, which uses it to address camera and critical-section arrays and invoke a function pointer. Exploitation requires a user to visit an attacker-staged webpage while the local WebSocket server is running, enabling code execution in the player's process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
