Code execution via unchecked snapshot array index
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Out-of-bounds reads in GeoVision GeoWebPlayer 1.1.1.0 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted WebSocket message. The snapshot handler uses an unchecked message index to enter crit_sections and later reads a release-function pointer beyond the array bounds. Exploitation requires the Windows add-on to be running and a user to visit an attacker-staged webpage that can reach its localhost WebSocket server.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
