Code execution via unchecked 2wayAudio array index
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in GeoVision GeoWebPlayer 1.1.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute code through a crafted WebSocket message. The 2wayAudio handler accepts the message's integer index without a range check, then uses it to enter a critical-section array and read a release-function pointer outside the array. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious webpage; the page can reach the localhost WebSocket server and run code in the player process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
