CVE-2026-57264Network attack vector

Arbitrary code execution via unchecked setPIP index

Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in GeoVision GeoWebPlayer 1.1.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted WebSocket message. The setPIP handler converts the message's index to an integer without a range check, indexes the crit_sections array, and invokes an out-of-bounds release function pointer. Exploitation requires user interaction with an attacker-staged webpage that reaches the locally exposed WebSocket service, after which code executes in the player's context.
