CVE-2026-57262

Project-file decryption via hardcoded AES master key

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Hardcoded encryption key use in Siemens LOGO! Soft Comfort before V9 allows local users to decrypt project files or remove passwords. The application applies the same embedded AES master key to every project file, leaving the key recoverable from application files or memory. Local access to the installed software or its memory is sufficient to expose project logic or strip a password without knowing the user-defined value.
