Code execution via freed list-box array reuse
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Use-after-free in Foxit PDF Editor and Reader 2026.1.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a crafted PDF. A list-box Format callback invokes deletePages(), which frees a page-associated array that later field processing reuses without validation. Editor 13.2.4 and earlier and 14.0.4 and earlier on Windows, plus 14.0.3 and earlier on macOS, are also affected; opening the PDF and allowing JavaScript is required.
