Information disclosure via unchecked color-space function output
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Foxit PDF Editor and Reader on Windows allows attackers to disclose information through a crafted PDF. An abnormal PDF color space references a semantically malformed function whose unvalidated output is treated as an illegal pointer and read beyond the intended memory region. Opening the file requires user interaction but no prior privileges, and the read can expose limited process memory and crash the desktop application without reported data modification or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
