Reflected XSS via unescaped media-dialog input attributes
Published Oct 10, 2026 · Updated Oct 10, 2026
Reflected XSS in Archetyped Favicon Rotator 1.2.11 and earlier allows remote attackers to run browser scripts via crafted requests. The media dialog reflects fvrt_-prefixed parameters into input attributes through FVRT_Utilities::build_attribute_string(), which discards the escaped array and concatenates raw values. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted link and load the affected dialog; scripts execute in the user's site-origin browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
