Arbitrary code execution via unchecked signature string copy

Classic buffer overflow in Foxit PDF Editor and PDF Reader allows context-dependent attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted PDF. The signature plugin copies abnormal strings from PDF signature fields or annotation objects without validating arguments or object consistency. Exploitation requires a user to open the PDF; affected Editor 13.2.4, 14.0.4, and 2026.1.1 and earlier releases run on Windows, while Reader 2026.1.1 and earlier affects Windows and macOS.
