Code execution via stale form-control pointer
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Use-after-free in Foxit PDF Editor and PDF Reader allows attackers to execute code after a crafted PDF is opened. JavaScript form reset can re-enter synchronization without lifecycle checks, leaving traversal to dereference a stale form-control pointer. Exploitation requires an end user to open the document; successful memory corruption grants code execution in the application context, while failed attempts crash the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
