Out-of-bounds reads in affected Foxit PDF Editor and Reader for Windows allow attackers to disclose information or crash the application. After embedded JavaScript changes page and document state, the renderer fails to revalidate page information and trusts a stale page count, leading to an invalid-address read. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted PDF on an affected Windows installation; the bounded consequences are information disclosure and an application crash.
