User-assisted code execution via invalidated form-field objects
Published Jul 8, 2026 · Updated Jul 8, 2026
Use-after-free in Foxit PDF Editor and PDF Reader allows attackers to execute arbitrary code when a user opens a crafted PDF. JavaScript changes to form-field properties invalidate the state of underlying objects, and subsequent access reads an illegal memory address. Opening the file is required; successful exploitation runs code in the application's security context, while failed attempts crash it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
