Authenticated SSRF via NONET scheme-filter bypass
Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026
SSRF in Nokogiri before 1.19.4 allows remote authenticated users to make JRuby applications fetch external resources through XML schemas. The JRuby XML::Schema resolver applies NONET through an incomplete, case-sensitive scheme denylist, allowing disallowed network schemes to reach the resolver. Exploitation requires user interaction and an application that parses an attacker-controlled schema; CRuby is unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
