Authenticated service interruption via final-chunk size-check bypass
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Request size limit bypass in RabbitMQ Server allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service through oversized management API JSON. The read_complete_body/3 helper checks only accumulated bytes before reading the final Cowboy chunk, then returns Acc plus Data without validating the combined length. Reachability requires the rabbitmq_management plugin and management API credentials; accepted oversized bodies consume parsing and operation resources and can interrupt broker availability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
