One-byte overwrite via unchecked header delimiter
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Off-by-one error in Teluu PJPROJECT 2.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to write one byte past a SIP serialization buffer. In pjsip_generic_array_hdr_print(), unchecked stores for the colon-space delimiter can exhaust the output buffer and place the trailing space beyond its end. Reachability requires a proxy, SBC, B2BUA, or similar application to re-serialize peer-controlled SIP requests; typical pool allocations absorb the fixed byte in slack space.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
