Unauthenticated agent disclosure and invocation via unguarded routes
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Missing authentication in AgentOS in PraisonAI 1.6.0 through 1.7.1 allows remote attackers to list and invoke agents over HTTP. The TypeScript server binds to 0.0.0.0 by default and registers GET /api/agents and POST /api/chat without authentication middleware. Reachability to a running service is sufficient to expose agent metadata and instruction prefixes or drive actions within the configured agent's tools, memory, APIs, credentials, and workflow state.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
