Tool invocation via unguarded legacy SSE endpoints
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Origin validation errors in PraisonAI 3.10.0 through 4.6.58 and praisonaiagents 0.6.0 through 1.6.58 allow remote attackers to invoke tools. ToolsMCPServer.run_sse mounts the legacy /sse and /messages/ endpoints without validating Host or Origin and without requiring authentication. Exploitation requires a running local or internal SSE server and user interaction with a malicious website; invoked tools run with the server user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
