Unauthenticated service interruption via unbounded resource allocation
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 9, 2026
Resource-exhaustion flaw in Microsoft ASP.NET Core OData allows remote attackers to interrupt exposed OData services without authentication. Microsoft has disclosed only that ASP.NET Core allocates resources without limits or throttling; the affected request-handling locus and triggering input remain undisclosed. Reachability requires a network-accessible application using the affected library, and the documented consequence is service interruption rather than data access or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
