Authenticated command execution via FileBrowser paths
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
Command injection in AWS RES 2024.10 through 2025.12.01 allows remote authenticated users to run commands on the cluster-manager EC2 instance. The FileBrowser List Files API passes unsanitized file path parameters containing shell metacharacters into command execution. Access requires an authenticated RES user invoking FileBrowser, and successful injection runs commands with the cluster-manager process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
