Out-of-bounds read via unchecked parser lookahead

Out-of-bounds read in CODECHILD XML::Bare 0.53 and earlier allows attackers to read past a heap buffer via truncated XML input. The parserc_parse routine compares fixed-offset characters for tokens such as CDATA markers and tag terminators without first verifying that each offset remains inside the input buffer. The flaw is reached when an application passes attacker-controlled XML to the default parser; published evidence establishes an invalid read but not code execution.
