Code execution via malformed extended advertisements
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Out-of-bounds writes in Silicon Labs Bluetooth Mesh SDK 6.1.4 and earlier allow remote attackers to execute code via malformed advertisements. The extended-advertisement parser accepts inconsistent length information and writes beyond a stack buffer, corrupting stack memory. Exploitation requires a device already joined to the mesh and affects only provisioners that support extended advertisements.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
