CVE-2026-56958

Local information disclosure via unchecked dump bounds

Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026

Out-of-bounds read in gf_algo_get_cached_dump_data in Google Android Pixel-family builds allows local users to disclose information. The gf_algo_get_cached_dump_data function in gf_algo.c reads beyond a buffer because it omits a bounds check before accessing cached dump data. Exploitation requires local access but needs no additional execution privileges or user interaction, and the documented consequence is limited to information disclosure.
