Remote command execution via provider parameter injection
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK A7100RU 7.4cu.2313_b20191024 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the provider parameter. The setDdnsCfg handler in /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi embeds provider in a command string that CsteSystem ultimately passes to execv without neutralizing command syntax. Reachability of the router's management CGI endpoint is the reported gate, and successful exploitation runs commands with the service's device privileges.
