Product media modification via missing authorization check
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Missing authorization in Shopper Labs Shopper before 2.9.2 allows remote authenticated users to replace product thumbnail and gallery images. The Media Livewire component's store() action updates the bound product from submitted form state without checking the edit_products permission. An account with browse_products can alter media only for a product whose edit page initialized the locked component; client-side ID substitution cannot target another product.
