Catalog disruption via unauthorized collection product removal
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Missing authorization in Shopper Labs Shopper before 2.9.2 allows remote authenticated users to detach products from arbitrary collections. CollectionProducts exposes single and bulk removal actions without delete_collections authorization and leaves its public collection model ID mutable in Livewire state. A browse_collections-only staff account is sufficient to empty targeted collections, disrupting associated catalog pages and promotions.
