CVE-2026-5682Public exploitNetwork attack vector

API data disclosure via unauthenticated AES-CBC

Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026

Risky encryption in Meesho: Online Shopping App 27.0 through 27.3 allows remote attackers to indirectly disclose API data. The app derives an AES key from unsalted MD5 and sends IV-plus-ciphertext payloads under AES-CBC without an integrity check. Exploitation requires intercepted API traffic and a distinguishable server response; no integrity or availability impact is established.
