CVE-2026-56774Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated session invalidation via ownerless deletion query

Published Jun 25, 2026 · Updated Jun 25, 2026

Authorization bypass in Kanboard 1.2.52 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete other users' persistent login sessions. UserViewController::removeSession passes a sequential session id to RememberMeSessionModel::remove, whose deletion query filters only by id and omits the authenticated owner's user id. Any logged-in app user with a valid CSRF token can enumerate ids and force users, including administrators, to reauthenticate; the flaw does not disclose data or enable account takeover.
