Stored XSS via unsanitized ticket titles
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Zammad before 7.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript through a crafted ticket title. The standard ticket-creation workflow persists arbitrary HTML in the title without removing JavaScript event-handler attributes before rendering it. A low-privilege account is sufficient, and execution occurs in another user's browser when affected ticket-title content is displayed.
