CSRF token forgery via reversible XOR masking
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Adminer before 5.4.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL through authenticated sessions. The get_token function returns both a random mask and its XOR with the session secret, while verify_token reconstructs the value and uses loose comparison. Exploitation requires an observed token or blind guessing plus a victim's authenticated browser; accepted SQL executes with that victim's database privileges.
