Unauthenticated code execution via MSSQL DSN injection
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Remote code execution in Adminer before 5.4.3 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code through a crafted MSSQL server field. The mssql.inc.php PDO attach method interpolates the server host into a sqlsrv DSN, so semicolons append TraceFile and TraceOn options. With pdo_sqlsrv, the Microsoft ODBC driver, and a web-writable document root, a failed unauthenticated login writes attacker-controlled PHP for later execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
