Code execution via unsafe deserialization and shell injection
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Oct 8, 2026
Code execution flaws in Grav CMS before 2.0.0-beta.2 allow attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted stored data or templates. JobQueue, FileCache, and Session deserialize data without class restrictions or integrity checks; InstallCommand leaves git-clone arguments unescaped, and cleanDangerousTwig omits callable helpers from its blocklist. Exploitation requires control of serialized storage or Twig content, or admin access for installation; FileCache is not the default cache adapter.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
