Unauthorized access via inadequate account lockouts
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Improper authentication in HCL BigFix Service Management 27 allows remote attackers to obtain system access through login brute forcing. The login interface permits sustained password attempts because account-lockout validation does not adequately restrict repeated failures. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful guessing exposes the privileges and data of the compromised account.
