Unauthenticated information disclosure through error messages
Published Jul 31, 2026 · Updated Jul 31, 2026
Improper error handling in HCL iControl 4.3.0 and 4.4.0 allows remote attackers to read limited sensitive data through error messages. HCL has not published the affected component or the operation that exposes data when memory, pointer, system-call, database, or network errors occur. The issue is reachable without authentication over a network, requires high-complexity conditions, and has no reported integrity or service-interruption impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
