Administrator-level database disclosure via conditional-comment SQL injection
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
SQL injection in 2W Technologies Askeet 3.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract sensitive database data. The askeet_is_safe_query() filter removes ordinary block comments before scanning for forbidden keywords, but MySQL executes conditional comments such as /!UNION/. Administrator-level access to the askeet_execute_sql_query or askeet_export_all_results AJAX action is required, and the reported consequence is database confidentiality loss.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
