Database manipulation via unsanitized upload filename
Published Apr 6, 2026 · Updated Apr 6, 2026
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Online Shopping Portal Project 2.1 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate its MySQL database. /admin/update-image3.php inserts the uploaded productimage3 filename into an SQL query without sanitization or parameter binding. An authenticated admin-panel session is required; a crafted multipart filename enables time-based blind queries that read or alter data and interrupt operations within the database account's permissions.
