Stored XSS via unencoded row heading values
Published Jun 21, 2026 · Updated Jun 21, 2026
Stored XSS in Craft CMS 4.5.0-beta.1 through 4.16.18 and 5.0.0-RC1 through 5.8.22 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript. Table::_getInputHtml() passes Row Heading default values to editableTable.twig without HTML encoding, so the template inserts attacker-controlled markup into the rendered field. An administrator account and enabled allowAdminChanges setting are required to store the payload, and a second user must view an object containing the table field for the script to execute in that user's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
