CVE-2026-56382Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Admin code execution via unsanitized field layout config

Published Jun 21, 2026 · Updated Jun 21, 2026

Code injection in Pixel & Tonic Craft CMS 5.5.0 through 5.9.13 allows remote authenticated users with admin access to execute PHP code. FieldsController::actionRenderCardPreview passes the fieldLayoutConfig POST array to Fields::createLayout without cleansing Yii2 event keys, so an on init handler runs during object initialization. A valid administrator session and CSRF token are required; successful exploitation runs arbitrary PHP in the server process and can disclose application secrets.
