CVE-2026-56380Network attack vector

Email address disclosure via public RSS feed

Published Aug 22, 2026 · Updated Aug 22, 2026

Information exposure in AVideo through commit 9c39d8c8 allows remote attackers to retrieve channel owner email addresses from public RSS feeds. feed/index.php accepts an unauthenticated channel_name value, loads that public channel owner record, and writes the stored email into the itunes:email and itunes:author elements without an access-control or privacy check. Any remote attacker who knows or enumerates public channel names can harvest creator addresses for phishing or account takeover attempts, but the flaw does not itself grant account access.
