CVE-2026-56355Network attack vector

Restricted file disclosure via untrusted authorization data

Published Jun 20, 2026 · Updated Jun 20, 2026

Authorization bypass in GNU Project Savane 3.14 through 3.17 allows remote attackers to read restricted files via crafted HTTP requests. The frontend/php/file.php download path uses requester-controlled file data in its authorization decision instead of trusted server-side state. No authentication or user interaction is required, but exploitation depends on high-complexity conditions and affects file confidentiality only.
