Stored XSS via unescaped menu item rendering
Published Jun 20, 2026 · Updated Jun 20, 2026
Stored XSS in the AVideo TopMenu plugin through 26.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in visitors' browsers. HTMLMenuRight.php, HTMLMenuLeft.php, floatMenu.php, and index.php echo stored icon classes, URLs, and labels into page markup without output encoding. Exploitation requires an administrator to save a crafted item or visit a malicious page while logged in, after which the payload runs for every site visitor.
