User redirection via unvalidated confirmation URL
Published Jun 20, 2026 · Updated Jun 20, 2026
Open redirect in Capgo before 12.128.2 allows remote attackers to send users to arbitrary external sites through confirm-signup links. The confirm-signup endpoint blindly trusts the user-controlled confirmation_url value and redirects the browser without restricting the destination to a trusted domain. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted link on a trusted Capgo origin, enabling phishing, credential harvesting, or malware delivery.
