CVE-2026-56326Network attack vector

Script execution and redirects via unsafe URL handling

Published Jun 22, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026

URL handling flaws in Nuxt 3.21.6 and earlier and 4.0.0 through 4.4.6 allow remote attackers to redirect users or execute script. navigateTo checks raw paths before normalization and sends resulting protocol-relative URLs to SSR redirect sinks; its open handler also passes script schemes to window.open, while reloadNuxtApp assigns protocol-relative paths to window.location.href. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled URLs into these APIs and a user to follow or activate the crafted navigation.
