Organization enumeration via differentiated endpoint errors
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Information disclosure in Capgo before 12.128.2 allows remote attackers to confirm organization existence through an unauthenticated API. The /private/validate_password_compliance handler returns distinct status codes and messages after treating malformed, absent, and existing organization UUIDs differently. No authentication is required, but exploitation requires a candidate UUID and reveals only whether the organization exists, not its data.
