CVE-2026-56317Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-site scripting via unescaped NoScript slot content

Published Jun 20, 2026 · Updated Jun 20, 2026

Cross-site scripting in Nuxt before 3.21.7 and 4.0.0 through 4.4.6 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via NoScript slots. The globally registered NoScript component joins default-slot text into the innerHTML of a server-rendered noscript head tag without escaping it. Exploitation requires an application to place attacker-controlled data in the slot and a user to load the rendered page; an injected script tag then closes noscript implicitly and runs in the document context.
