Authenticated SQL injection via unvalidated sort parameters
Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026
SQL injection in Apache Fineract 1.14.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data through Client Search. The Client Search API concatenates the orderBy and sortOrder request parameters into a SQL query without sufficient validation. A user needs permission to view clients; crafted orderBy values support blind extraction and can read database-process-accessible files on MySQL or MariaDB.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
