CVE-2026-5627Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Admin-level file read and deletion via traversal

Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026

Path traversal in AnythingLLM before 1.12.1 allows remote authenticated users to read or delete arbitrary server-side JSON files. The AgentFlows loadFlow and deleteFlow methods join an attacker-controlled flow UUID to the flows directory and normalize it without verifying that the result remains inside that directory. Administrative access is required; successful requests expose secrets stored in JSON or remove application files and interrupt service.
